Return gifts for a wedding: quantity, budget and packing
13 August 2026 · Archies Gift Shop

Return gifts are bought by the dozen, opened by strangers and judged in about four seconds. That makes weight, consistency and packing matter more than novelty.
Quantity and consistency
Handmade items vary — hand-painted trays and meenakari work are never identical piece to piece. Across forty guests that variation reads as charm; on a single matched tray it can read as a defect. If you need pieces that look identical, say so before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether the line supports it.
Budget per head
Most return-gift buying settles between ₹150 and ₹600 a guest. Haldi kumkum sets, small potli bags and trinket boxes sit in that band; serveware and idols sit above it.
Packing and transport
- Bulk orders ship as one carton — someone needs to be at the address to receive it.
- Ask for the invoice in a separate envelope if the carton goes straight to a venue.
- Leave a day at the destination for unpacking; parcels rarely arrive the morning of an event.
Returns on bulk
Bulk festive orders sit outside the standard 10-day window because the pieces are usually handed out immediately. Tell us what you need before ordering rather than after.
